This is my mother-in-laws chili recipe (for 2)
- Ground beef (1lb)
- Zucchini
- Celery
- Green pepper
- 2 cans of diced tomatoes (with garlic)
- 1 large can of tomato purée
- Garlic powder
- Black pepper
- Low sodium chili seasoning
Brown ground beef in a large pot, drain excess fat
Add chopped veggies: zucchini, celery, green pepper
Add:
2 cans of diced tomatoes with garlic
1 large can of tomato purée
Garlic powder (about a tsp or so)
Black pepper
2 packets of low sodium chili seasoning
Stir well and simmer about 30 minutes or so
Stir occasionally
Let cool a bit, serve, enjoy!
